One of the oldest and most prestigious veterinary institutions in Asia. It is the flag-bearer of the livestock sector in Pakistan, operating across multiple campuses to serve the rural economy.
Tracing its history back to the Veterinary School established in 1882, it was upgraded to a university in 2002. It has expanded from a single campus in Lahore to a massive research network including the Ravi Campus (Pattoki) and campuses in Jhang, Narowal, and Layyah.
