A vital higher education institution located in the scenic valley of Chitral. Situated at Seen Lasht, it serves as a 'Regional Education Corridor' connecting Pakistan with Central Asia via the Wakhan corridor, offering quality education to the youth of this remote strategic region.
Established in 2017 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the university evolved from the sub-campuses of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) Sheringal. It was founded to meet the growing educational needs of the Lower and Upper Chitral districts.
