About UOBS
The highest altitude university in Pakistan, located in the heart of the Karakoram mountains. It serves as a hub for research on glaciers, mountaineering, and minerals, providing quality education to the remote communities of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Established in 2017, UOBS was created to make higher education accessible in the Baltistan region. It evolved from the Skardu Campus of KIU and has quickly developed specialized departments tailored to the region's unique geography and tourism potential.

Highly subsidized fees. Regular BS programs (Arts/Social Sciences) cost approx 28,000 - 32,000 PKR per semester. BS Computer Science and Tourism Management are approx 35,000 - 45,000 PKR per semester.
