About UoB
The oldest and most significant higher education institution in the province, known as the 'Mother University of Balochistan'. Located on the historic Sariab Road, it is a hub for political and social activism and holds a monopoly on Geology and Mineral research in the region.
Established in 1970 through an Ordinance, UoB was the first university in Balochistan. It started with three departments (Physics, Chemistry, Geology) and has since expanded to 46 departments, serving as the primary engine for higher education in the province for over 50 years.

Fee Range
25,000 - 65,000 PKR (Per Semester)
Extremely affordable. Regular BS programs (Arts/Humanities) cost approx 25,000 - 30,000 PKR per semester. BS Science/CS is approx 40,000 PKR/Sem. Pharm-D and DPT are higher, ranging from 60,000 to 65,000 PKR per semester.
