The University of Haripur

UoH originated in March 2008 as a sub-campus of Hazara University. In recognition of its rapid growth, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa upgraded it to a full-fledged independent university on September 4, 2012. The campus is uniquely situated on the former site of a Rosin and Turpentine factory, symbolizing the region's transition from industrial heritage to academic excellence. Today, it hosts over 9,000 students across 100+ programs.

Highly subsidized public pricing. For 2026, Computing programs (CS/AI) are approx 63,211 PKR for the 1st semester. DPT is the most premium at 76,338 PKR. Social Sciences are approx 25,600 PKR. Notably, programs like History, Political Science, and Agriculture often carry 100% tuition fee concessions, requiring students to pay only administrative charges.
