The University of Agriculture, Peshawar (UAP) is a premier research-intensive institution dedicated to food security and modern agricultural practices. It plays a vital role in the province's agrarian economy, hosting the specialized Climate Change Centre and the Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (IBGE). The campus is a hub for research in crop production, livestock management, and rural development.
Established in 1981, it was formerly a constituent campus of the University of Peshawar before gaining independent university status.

For regular BS programs (Agriculture, Biotechnology), the first semester fee is approximately 68,600 PKR (including one-time admission charges), dropping to roughly 47,950 PKR for subsequent semesters. Self-finance/Non-subsidized programs have significantly higher rates.
