The premier engineering powerhouse of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Known for its state-of-the-art Earthquake Engineering Center (EEC) and the massive new Jalozai Campus, it produces the bulk of the engineering workforce for the province's infrastructure projects.
Established in 1952 as a constituent college of the University of Peshawar, it gained independence as UET Peshawar in 1980. It has since expanded to multiple satellite campuses (Jalozai, Abbottabad, Bannu, Kohat) and hosts the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E).
