The Shaikh Ayaz University (TSAUS), formerly known as the Shikarpur Campus of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, is a public sector university situated on 98 acres near the Shikarpur-Jacobabad Bypass. Named after the legendary Sindhi poet Shaikh Ayaz, the university serves as a vital academic hub for North Sindh. It is recognized by the HEC and is dedicated to reviving the educational and cultural splendor of Shikarpur. The university features modern computing labs, a digital library, and a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary research through its ORIC and Student Affairs offices.
Originally established as a campus in 2011, it was upgraded to a full-fledged independent university by the Government of Sindh on December 12, 2018.
