The Institute of Management Sciences

A pioneer of professional management and computer education in Gulberg. Pak-AIMS is a 'W' category degree-awarding institute recognized for its high-impact focus on executive training and software engineering. It operates as a project of the Al-Karim Educational Foundation (AKEF), maintaining a robust industry-academic bridge. The institute is celebrated for its 'Outcome Based Education' (OBE) and is one of the few private institutions in Lahore to own an in-house Software House, allowing students to work on real-world global projects while completing their degrees. Its central urban campus provides an integrated environment where professional ethics and market-driven skills are prioritized.

The institution's legacy began in 1986 as the Canadian School of Management – Lahore Learning Centre. It was later renamed the Pak-American Institute of Management Sciences (Pak-AIMS) to reflect its historic articulation agreement with the City University of New York (CSI/CUNY). Following years of academic excellence, it was issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the HEC in 1995 and was formally granted an independent charter by the Government of Punjab under Ordinance XXIII of 2002. Since then, it has evolved into a comprehensive management school with a sprawling alumni network of over 10,000 professionals serving in top-tier multinational corporations.

For the 2026 session, tuition is calculated at approx $6,300 \text{ PKR}$ per credit hour. A standard 18-hour semester for BS CS or BBA costs approx $113,400 \text{ PKR}$ plus a semester registration fee of $10,000 \text{ PKR}$. One-time admission charges are $10,000 \text{ PKR}$ for admission and $10,000 \text{ PKR}$ for registration. Female students receive an automatic 25% tuition fee waiver in all semesters. Generous merit scholarships are available, offering up to 65% tuition waivers for students with a 4.00 CGPA.
