The academic arm of the world-renowned Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). Located inside the Civil Hospital complex, it is unique in Pakistan for offering high-quality medical education that is often completely free or highly subsidized, following SIUT's philosophy of 'Free Treatment with Dignity'.
While SIUT began in 1970, the Sindh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) was granted degree-awarding status by the HEC in 2009. It was established to produce specialized human resources in Urology, Nephrology, Transplantation, and Nursing to support the massive patient load of SIUT.

Unique 'Zero Tuition' model. Most programs at SIMS-SIUT (especially Nursing and Tech) charge NO TUITION FEE. Instead, students often receive a monthly stipend (approx 15,000 - 20,000 PKR) during their training, provided they maintain merit.
