The premier agricultural research institution in Sindh. Located in the fertile belt of Tandojam, it is uniquely positioned to address the agricultural challenges of the lower Indus valley, focusing on crop production, saline agriculture, and livestock management.
Established in 1977, SAU evolved from the Sakrand Agriculture College (founded in 1940). It was upgraded to a full university to cater to the agro-based economy of Sindh and has since produced thousands of agricultural scientists and engineers.

Very affordable. Regular BS Agriculture programs cost approx 39,330 PKR (1st Sem) and ~30,000 PKR for subsequent semesters. DVM and BSIT are slightly higher. Self-Finance seats require a large lump sum payment (approx 300,000 - 600,000 PKR) upfront.
