Qurtuba University of Science and Information Technology

A premier private institution and the pioneer of professional higher education in Southern KP. Founded on the visionary ideals of the historic city of Cordoba (Qurtuba), the university is recognized in the highest 'W3' category by the HEC. Its D.I. The university was established on August 30, 2001, through an Ordinance issued by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was founded by the late Prof. Abdul Aziz Khan Niazi, who sought to revive the spirit of Cordoba—once the world's 'Cradle of Knowledge'—in the heart of Pakistan. Originally starting with a focused curriculum in Science and IT, it has since expanded into a multi-disciplinary university with a dedicated faculty and a separate campus in Peshawar, consistently ranking as a top private-sector choice in the province.

Qurtuba is highly regarded for its affordability. For the 2026 session, BS Social Sciences and B.Ed programs start at approx 38,000 PKR. BS CS and IT programs are approx 52,000 PKR. The most premium program, Pharm-D, is approx 65,000 PKR per semester. A one-time admission processing fee of ~15,000 PKR is typically required at the time of first registration.
