About PUMHSW
A historic and premier medical institution exclusively for women. Originally established as Peoples Medical College, it has graduated over 6,000 female doctors. It is attached to the 1000-bed Peoples Medical University Hospital, providing students with extensive clinical exposure in the heart of Sindh.
Founded in 1974 as Peoples Medical College by the vision of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. It was upgraded to a full university in 2010 by the Government of Sindh. It stands as a beacon of female empowerment in the medical field for the rural and urban populations of Sindh.

Heavily subsidized for District Merit. MBBS annual fee is approx 87,000 PKR. Self-Finance (UDP) seats for MBBS are approx 616,000 PKR per year. DPT and Pharm-D merit fees are ~100,000 PKR annually, while Self-Finance for these is ~250,000 PKR.
