Preston University, Kohat is the main chartered campus of Pakistan's first private sector university. Established in 1984, it holds a historic position in the country's higher education landscape. While it operates other campuses, the Kohat campus is the primary degree-granting seat recognized by the HEC, offering affordable education in business, computer science, and education disciplines to the southern districts of KPK.
Founded in 1984 as the School of Business and Commerce, it was granted a university charter by the Government of NWFP (now KPK) in 2002.
