Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) is a unique educational collaboration between the governments of Pakistan, Austria, and China. Located in Mang, Haripur, the campus is famous for its picturesque setting featuring a natural lake fed by mountain springs. It is Pakistan's first university to offer foreign dual degrees in engineering and technology, hosting the Sino-Pak Center for Artificial Intelligence and adhering to the Austrian 'Fachhochschule' model of applied skills.
Inaugurated in September 2020, it was established to introduce the European applied sciences model to Pakistan, partnering with top Austrian and Chinese universities.
