Established in 1993 by Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, a former World Bank economist, LSE was founded to provide world-class education in Economics and Business. It was granted its charter by the Government of Punjab in January 1997. Over three decades, it has evolved into a global center for economic research, becoming the only institution in Pakistan to be awarded a World Trade Organization (WTO) Chair. LSE follows a credit-hour based fee model. For the 2026 session, undergraduate tuition is approx 15,000 - 18,000 PKR per credit hour. A standard 15-18 credit hour semester costs between 240,000 and 280,000 PKR. For A-Level students, classes typically start in August, while FA/FSc students begin in September. A one-time Admission Fee of approx 30,000 PKR is charged at the time of joining.
