About KMU
The backbone of the health system in KPK. It is not just a university but the central authority that manages admissions and examinations for all public and private medical colleges in the province.
Established in 2007, KMU was created to standardize medical education in KPK. While its constituent colleges (like Khyber Medical College, est. 1954) are historic, the university itself is a modern hub located in Hayatabad Phase-V, coordinating research and specialized health training.

Fee Range
35,000 - 130,000 PKR (Per Year/Sem)
MBBS/BDS in public colleges is subsidized (~35k-45k PKR per YEAR). KMU's own institutes (Allied Health/Nursing) charge approx 45,000 - 55,000 PKR per Semester. Pharm-D (Open Merit) is ~120,000 PKR/Year.
