The most iconic educational landmark of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Famous for its majestic Mughal-Gothic architecture and red-brick buildings, it is a symbol of national pride. It was upgraded to a full university in 2008 but retains its historic collegiate culture.
Founded in 1913 by Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Khan (the 'Sir Syed of the Frontier') and Sir George Roos-Keppel. Its historical importance is such that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah visited it three times and bequeathed a portion of his property to the college in his will.

Extremely affordable. Regular BS programs (Botany, Zoology, Pol Science) cost approx 30,000 - 35,000 PKR per semester. BS Computer Science is slightly higher at ~40,000 PKR/Sem. Hostel charges are nominal.
