About FJWU
The first public sector women's university in Pakistan. Located in the historic Old Presidency building on The Mall, it combines Victorian architecture with modern education, empowering women from the Pothohar region.
Established in 1998, FJWU was founded to provide higher education opportunities exclusively for women. The main campus building is a heritage site (formerly the Presidency of Pakistan), where the university has grown to offer diverse degrees from Software Engineering to Gender Studies.
