About BUMHS
Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) is the first and premier medical university in Balochistan. Built upon the historic legacy of Bolan Medical College (BMC), it serves as the province's primary center for medical education and research. The university is attached to the massive Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, providing extensive clinical training. Its campus on Brewery Road is a landmark of medical excellence, catering to students from all districts of Balochistan through a specialized divisional and district-based merit system.
Established in 2017 by the Government of Balochistan, it integrated the historic Bolan Medical College (founded in 1972) to elevate medical education to university standards.
