Abbottabad University of Science and Technology

Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a rapidly emerging public sector university located in Havelian, a key node of the CPEC route. Surrounded by the lush green hills of Abbottabad, the university is particularly renowned for its focus on Earth Sciences, Microbiology, and Mining Engineering. It provides a serene academic environment with modern laboratories and a growing emphasis on industrial research.

Formerly a campus of Hazara University, it was granted independent university status by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2015.

AUST offers a very affordable fee structure. Regular BS programs (English, Economics, Maths) charge approx. 38,500 PKR at admission and 29,500 PKR for subsequent semesters. High-tech programs like BS CS and MLT charge approx. 63,800 PKR at admission and 51,800 PKR subsequently.
