Poet: Akhtar Sheerani (اختر شیرانی)
Akhtar Sheerani (1905-1948) is known as the 'Poet of Romance' (Shair-e-Romance) in Urdu literature. He introduced a new style of romantic poetry, focusing on youthful emotions, beauty of nature, and nostalgia for his homeland (watan). 'O Des Se Aane Wale Bata' reflects his deep love and longing for his homeland.
